This is our guiding principle, and it is the foundation upon which we are building our sanctuary.

We are The Mountain Clan (MC), an independent, non-profit sanctuary and mutual aid community. We are a family-friendly, multi-generational collective of neurodivergent, LGBTQIA2S+, polyamorous, and pagan individuals and families who have come together to create a place of safety, preparedness, and purpose.

Our Vision

We are forging a cohesive, skills-based community dedicated to exploring the paths of witchcraft and preparedness. Our mission is to provide a permanent, welcoming, and training-oriented environment where we can learn to be self-sufficient and support one another. Here, we share skills, conduct drills, and cultivate the knowledge needed to weather any storm—be it personal or societal.

The Mountain Clan is a sanctuary. We are a place of mutual aid, where every member contributes to the strength and resilience of the whole. We are here to grow, to learn, and to build a lasting legacy of wisdom and care.

Our Core Values

The heart of our community beats with a non-negotiable commitment to inclusivity and respect. We are explicitly and proudly anti-racist, anti-homophobic, and anti-transphobic. We welcome all neurodivergent identities and backgrounds, striving to accommodate different physical, neurological, and emotional needs. Our community thrives on open communication, consent, mutual support, and a deep celebration of diversity.

We are not a militia, a radical faction, a resort, or a simple social club. We are a sanctuary of mutual aid, and membership is for those ready to build a better world, one brick—and one spell—at a time.

Becoming a member of The Mountain Clan is a thoughtful and deliberate process. We seek individuals and families who are ready to commit to a life of service, learning, and community. Our membership process is designed to build trust and ensure the integrity of our Clan, with a detailed vetting process followed by a one-year probationary period. This ensures that all who join are ready to uphold our Charter and contribute to our shared purpose.

Full members enjoy the benefits of a private lot, participation in regular gatherings, and access to shared resources. We also ask every member to serve within our Four Divisions, contributing their skills and time to the health of our community.
